Referdle has to correctly identify at least five words from the Clue Grid that Cluebot previously identified. There are five chances to correctly identify each word.

How To Play
- Clue Grid: A 5x5 Clue Grid is shown throughout the game, giving suggestions for each of the five phrases. Each suggestion consists of a single word that is related to the guessed word. The indications might be synonyms, antonyms, or phrases that are related to the anticipated word in some way.
- Choose a Word: From the Clue Grid, choose a word that you feel you can answer first. You will do your hardest to guess this word.
- Make Guesses: After selecting a word, you have five attempts to figure it out. Each guess must be a single word that relates to the supplied suggestion for the selected word.
- Words Revealed: If your guess was correct, the word will appear on the Clue Grid, showing that your deduction was correct. The next word may then be selected.
- Incorrect Guesses: If your guess is incorrect, you will get another chance to make a guess, but you will only have one. Continue guessing until you either accurately identify the word or run out of choices.
