Solo Indian game developer Baba Black Sheep Games has launched its cricket-rhythm action game, Bat to the Beat, as part of the ongoing Steam Sports Fest, which runs until December 15, 2025. Players can find the title featured in the “browse games” section of the Sports Fest on Steam, where they also have the option to wishlist the game and try a demo version available on Valve’s digital storefront.
The developer has revealed a series of levels that players can expect when Bat to the Beat fully launches. The game will feature various locations, including Sri Lanka, South Africa, Australia, India, Jamaica, New Zealand, Pakistan, and England. Each level is designed to challenge players with unique musical rhythms representative of the respective countries.
Bat to the Beat is crafted as a cricket-rhythm action game where players must make decisions after each beat. The randomness of enemy positions ensures that every playthrough remains distinct, encouraging players to think on their feet. Kunal Joshi, the solo developer behind Baba Black Sheep Games, initially announced the project in April 2025.
