Asus Reveals 2026 TUF Gaming T500 & TM500 Desktops with Next-Gen Ryzen and Intel CPUs

FaZe Clan secures a stunning 3-1 victory over G2 Esports in the grand finals, claiming the $500K prize at the CS:GO Major Championship.

At CES 2026, Asus unveiled its latest offerings in the gaming desktop market with the introduction of the TUF Gaming T500 and TM500 models. These new desktops feature significant updates, showcasing cutting-edge technology from both AMD and Intel, aimed at catering to the evolving needs of gamers and content creators alike. The announcement reinforces Asus’s commitment to delivering high-performance gaming solutions as the industry continues to push the boundaries of hardware capabilities.

The primary enhancements in the TUF Gaming series focus on internal components, distinguishing the two models primarily by their processor platforms. The TUF Gaming TM500 is designed for those who prefer AMD’s architecture, offering configurations that can be equipped with a Ryzen 7 260 CPU from the Hawk Point series, which utilizes Zen 4 cores. In contrast, the TUF Gaming T500 caters to Intel enthusiasts, featuring a configuration option up to a Core i5-13420H processor. This dual-platform approach allows users to select a system that best aligns with their performance preferences and gaming requirements.

Graphics performance has also seen a substantial upgrade in both models. Users can choose between the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, both of which are expected to deliver exceptional visuals and frame rates across a variety of gaming titles. In addition to powerful graphics capabilities, Asus has included support for up to 64 GB of DDR5-5200 MT/s RAM, which should provide ample speed and capacity for multitasking and demanding applications.

Storage options are equally impressive, with both desktops equipped with PCIe Gen 4 storage solutions, ensuring rapid data transfer rates and improved load times for games and applications. The power supply for both models is rated at 330 W and is 80 Plus Platinum certified, highlighting Asus’s focus on efficiency and reliability in power management.

The design of the TUF Gaming T500 and TM500 is centered around effective thermal management, featuring a chassis that prioritizes cooling to accommodate the new, high-performance hardware. The desktop designs include a comprehensive array of connectivity options, with around a dozen ports available across the front and rear panels, ensuring versatility for various peripherals and accessories.

As of now, Asus has not disclosed specific pricing or the exact release dates for these models. Gamers and potential buyers are encouraged to monitor Asus’s official website for updates regarding availability and further details. This move comes as the gaming hardware landscape becomes increasingly competitive, with manufacturers striving to provide innovative solutions that meet the demands of an ever-growing user base.

The introduction of the TUF Gaming T500 and TM500 desktops highlights a broader trend within the gaming industry toward high-performance, customizable systems. As esports and gaming continue to gain prominence globally, the demand for advanced, reliable gaming hardware is expected to rise. Asus’s latest offerings are poised to meet these demands, positioning the company as a key player in the ongoing evolution of gaming technology.
