Belkin unveiled the Charging Case Pro for the Nintendo Switch 2 at CES 2026, marking a significant addition to the accessory lineup for Nintendo’s latest console. This high-end charging case features a robust 10,000mAh power bank capable of delivering up to 30W of fast charging, positioning it as a competitive option for gamers seeking enhanced portability and convenience.
In addition to its charging capabilities, the Charging Case Pro is equipped with an LCD screen on its exterior, allowing users to easily monitor the remaining battery life. The case also serves a dual purpose as a tabletop stand, offering a more stable setup compared to its predecessor. While the stand is an improvement over the first Switch model, it still lacks the sturdiness that some might prefer for extended gaming sessions.
Security features also make an appearance, with a dedicated flap for game card storage and a concealed compartment for smart trackers, addressing potential theft concerns. Belkin emphasizes that the Charging Case Pro is constructed from premium materials designed for long-term durability, aiming to provide lasting protection for the Switch 2.
During CES 2026, attendees were able to view a prototype of the Charging Case Pro, although notably absent was an actual Switch 2 unit for demonstration. Observers noted clever design features, such as an oval cutout on the front that allows visibility of the battery indicator and USB-C port. This contrasts with the original model, which required users to remove the battery for charging.
The Charging Case Pro is available in three color options: off-white, sage, and dark grey. Priced at $100, it represents a price increase from the original $70 model, reflecting its enhanced features and capabilities.
Belkin also showcased other notable charging accessories at the event. The UltraCharge Pro Power Bank is designed to charge two devices simultaneously and is set to retail for $100, with availability in February. Another product, the BoostCharge power bank, offers a slim design that easily fits into pockets, starting at $60 but not expected to launch until later in the year.
As gaming accessories continue to evolve, products like the Charging Case Pro underscore the growing demand for multifunctional solutions that enhance the gaming experience. With a blend of practicality and security features, Belkin’s latest offering is poised to appeal to Nintendo Switch 2 users looking for reliable portability and protection while enjoying their gaming adventures.
