Save Up to 30% on Turok Trilogy Bundle for PS5 and Switch, Limited Stock Available

Nightdive Studios launches the Turok Trilogy Bundle for PS5 and Switch at up to 30% off, but stock is limited—act fast to secure your remastered classics.

Nightdive Studios has successfully revived the classic Nintendo 64 first-person shooter series with the recent launch of The Turok Trilogy Bundle. Released on October 31 for both PS5 and Nintendo Switch, this physical collection brings together remastered versions of the original three games in the franchise, which first debuted as standalone digital editions between 2018 and 2023. The bundle is now available at significant discounts, with GameStop offering the PS5 and Switch editions for just $28, down from $40, while other retailers like Amazon, Target, and Walmart have it priced at $30. However, stock is dwindling rapidly, with the Switch version already sold out at Walmart, prompting eager fans to act quickly to secure their copies.

The Turok Trilogy Bundle includes enhanced remasters of:

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter Remastered, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Remastered, and Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered. Each title benefits from upscaled graphics, improved dynamic lighting, and enhanced water effects, alongside modern gameplay tweaks that aim to appeal to both nostalgic players and newcomers. Notably, the full data for all three games is included on the disc and the Switch cartridge, with the latter also playable on the upcoming Switch 2.

While the remastered trilogy is available digitally, the current deals apply exclusively to the physical versions. The original Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, which launched back in 1997 for the Nintendo 64 and Windows, quickly gained a reputation as a landmark title in the FPS genre. Following its success, two sequels were released on the same platform, expanding the narrative to include various warriors who assume the Turok mantle. These protagonists protect Earth and a parallel dimension known as the Lost Land from a host of threats, including prehistoric creatures, high-tech soldiers, and inter-dimensional aliens. The franchise also spawned a multiplayer deathmatch spin-off, Turok: Rage Wars, and a prequel titled Turok: Evolution in 2002.

After a reboot in 2008 failed to resonate with critics and players alike, the Turok series fell into relative obscurity. However, Nightdive’s remaster trilogy has breathed new life into the franchise, setting the stage for a long-awaited return with Turok Origins, a new third-person shooter reboot currently under development by Saber Interactive. Early hands-on impressions suggest a promising future for the series, as fans eagerly await its first original entry in nearly two decades.

For those who seek additional retro gaming experiences, the Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection Standard Edition from Limited Run Games also offers a nostalgic trip down memory lane. This 7-in-1 package encompasses every version of the first two Jurassic Park games, available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Retailers are currently pricing this collection at $30, down from $40, with GameStop offering the Switch version for $28 and the PS5 version for $35.

The Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection features titles such as Jurassic Park for NES, Game Boy, SNES, and Sega Genesis, as well as Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues for Game Boy and SNES, along with Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition for Sega Genesis. These collections not only cater to avid collectors but also provide a chance for younger gamers to experience the roots of beloved franchises.

As the gaming landscape continues to evolve, the resurgence of classic titles through remasters and collections highlights a growing trend among developers to revisit and revitalize storied franchises. With both the Turok Trilogy and Jurassic Park Classic Games collections now available at attractive prices, players are afforded an opportunity to dive into gaming history while also anticipating new adventures in beloved universes.
