Beast Games Season 2 Episode 2 Recap: Top Plays and Key Results Revealed

G2 Esports secures a stunning 3-1 victory over FaZe Clan to win the ESL Pro League Season 17 and claim a $200K prize pool.

Episode 2 of Beast Games Season 2, which premiered on January 7, 2026, on Prime Video, continued to build on the excitement established by the season opener. The episode featured a variety of challenges designed to push the contestants to their limits, including dodgeball, a balance challenge, a bluffing game, and a block-stacking challenge. Viewers were also reminded that they could take advantage of a 30-day free trial on Prime Video to catch up on the series.

This episode picked up where the first left off, offering contestants a stark choice: accept a $100,000 bribe to exit the competition or remain and compete for the staggering grand prize of $5 million. Ten players chose to eliminate themselves, paving the way for several returning contestants from Season 1. Notably, Dino Viana, who previously turned down $1 million, and Gage Gallagher, known as “Mr. Coin Flip,” were among those who re-entered the fray. Other returning players included Courtney Ferris, Akira Andrews, JC Gallego Lori, Karim Arafa, Jeremy T. Grant, and Mia Speight. The surprises didn’t end there; Season 1 runner-up Twana Barnett and winner Jeff Allen also made their return.

The episode’s first challenge was an intense dodgeball game, where 18 contestants faced off. A moving red line dictated team shifts, and players had to throw the dodgeballs within a strict 10-second window. The stakes were high, as anyone hit or caught by the red line was eliminated. Ultimately, only nine players moved forward.

The second challenge revolved around balance, with 22 players taking turns placing rocks on a scale while simultaneously pulling out pins. If the rocks outweighed a heart on the scale, it would collapse, leading to the elimination of that player. After intense back-and-forth gameplay, only 11 contestants advanced. Observing the strategy used, MrBeast noted, “Two different strategies started to emerge… For the strong players, they chose rocks based on their weight. But for the only two smart players, their strategy depends on where they place the rock.”

The bluffing game that followed required 20 contestants to match their assigned colors in a designated circle while trying to mislead others. This strategic layer added complexity to the challenge, and only 10 players successfully navigated through.

The final challenge featured an ambitious block-stacking game. Forty contestants were divided into two teams, each led by a captain chosen from among the strongest players. The challenge involved building a tower tall enough to secure a flag suspended 50 feet in the air. The suspense built as only one player at a time could collect blocks, and the challenge concluded on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager for the next episode.

With Episode 3 already available on Prime Video, fans are left wondering how the returning players will adapt to the challenges ahead and what new twists await in the competition. The combination of strategy, physical challenges, and the unexpected returns from Season 1 promises an engaging continuation in the world of Beast Games.
