MSI Launches New Business and Gaming Laptop Lineup with Enhanced Performance Features

Team Secret secures a stunning 3-2 victory over G2 Esports to win the Valorant Champions title and a $1 million prize pool.

CES 2026: MSI unveiled its new laptop portfolio today, January 6, at CES 2026, showcasing a diverse range of options tailored for business, productivity, and high-performance gaming. The lineup includes a redesigned Prestige series aimed at professionals, alongside next-generation gaming laptops within the Raider, Stealth, and Crosshair series.

The highlight of the announcements was the all-new Prestige series, which features an updated design language characterized by smoother curves, thinner profiles, and an aluminum construction. These laptops are powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. Eric Kuo, Executive Vice President and General Manager of MSI’s NB Business Unit, emphasized that the new design exemplifies MSI’s commitment to innovation in the business and productivity sector.

Jim Johnson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Intel’s Client Computing Group, echoed this sentiment, stating, “Intel and MSI continue to bring cutting-edge innovation to end users and enhance real-world experiences.” He noted that the new Prestige series delivers exceptional performance and battery life, making it an ideal choice for business professionals.

Among the new offerings, the Prestige 14 and Prestige 16 stand out for their portability, weighing in at just 1.32 kg and 1.59 kg, respectively. MSI claims these models boast over 30 hours of 1080p video playback supported by an 81Wh battery. The laptops are equipped with Intel Arc graphics, advanced vapor chamber cooling systems, and a 2.8K 120Hz OLED display with DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, setting a high bar for visual quality and performance.

Expanding on the Prestige series, MSI also introduced the Prestige Flip variants. These 2-in-1 models come with touch and stylus support, bundled with the MSI Nano Pen, which features quick charging and a Copilot press-to-talk function developed in partnership with Microsoft. Other notable attributes include a larger Action Touchpad, enterprise-grade security measures, and a presence-based auto-lock feature.

Additionally, MSI presented the Prestige 13 AI+, which weighs only 899 grams. Marketed as the world’s lightest 13-inch magnesium-aluminium laptop, it still manages to deliver Intel Core Ultra Series 3 performance alongside robust business-grade security features.

Shifting focus from business laptops, MSI refreshed its Modern S series, aimed at everyday users. The Modern 14S and 16S offer a premium metal design, Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, extensive I/O options, and slim builds designed for enhanced mobility.

On the gaming front, MSI revealed its redesigned Raider, Stealth, and Crosshair laptops, all featuring new chassis designs, improved thermal management, and upgraded I/O layouts. The flagship Raider 16 Max HX generated significant interest, as it is touted to be the world’s first gaming laptop capable of delivering up to 300W total system power, combining Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs.

The Stealth 16 AI+ laptop, measuring just 16.6mm thick and weighing under 2kg, combines a sleek aluminum design with powerful graphics, enhanced cooling systems, and a sizeable 90Wh battery, catering to gamers looking for both performance and portability.

MSI’s gaming lineup also expanded with the introduction of the Crosshair series, designed to offer up to 200W system power and optional QHD+ OLED displays coupled with a refreshed RGB keyboard design. Among the new releases is the Claw 8 AI+ Glacier Blue Edition, a special-edition gaming handheld featuring a distinctive Glacier Blue finish while maintaining flagship specifications.

The unveiling of these laptops at CES 2026 reflects MSI’s strategic focus on pushing the boundaries of technology in both the business and gaming realms. As industries increasingly rely on high-performance devices for productivity and gaming, MSI’s commitment to innovation positions it as a significant player in the competitive market. The advancements in design, performance, and functionality across all new models suggest that MSI is poised to meet the evolving demands of consumers in the years to come.
