Thunderobot Launches RTX 5090 Mini Gaming PC to Compete with ASUS ROG NUC Globally

Thunderobot unveils the Mix G2 Mini PC with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and Nvidia RTX 5090, set to launch globally at CES 2026 on January 6.

Thunderobot, a leading technology company, has announced the global launch of its Mix G2 Mini PC, which was initially unveiled in China in November 2025. This compact gaming rig, designed to deliver high-end performance, is set to compete directly with ASUS’s latest ROG NUC 2025 model. The Mix G2 Mini PC is poised to attract both gamers and content creators with its impressive specifications packed into a small form factor of just 3.2 liters.

The company recently shared a teaser regarding the international availability of the Mix G2, which will coincide with the release of its Zero Air gaming laptop. With the goal of providing desktop-level power in a compact package, Thunderobot aims to meet the growing demand for powerful yet space-efficient gaming systems across the globe.

At the heart of the Mix G2 is Intel’s Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, boasting 24 cores and 24 threads, reaching a maximum clock speed of 5.4 GHz. This processor is designed to handle demanding tasks, featuring a maximum thermal design power (TDP) of 120W and an impressive 36 TOPS of AI computing capability through its Neural Processing Unit (NPU). Coupled with this, the Mini PC integrates Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, which includes a maximum TDP of 175W, 24GB of GDDR7 memory, and 10,496 CUDA cores. This powerful combination ensures that the Mix G2 can handle the latest games and content creation applications with ease.

While the Mix G2’s top configuration is undoubtedly impressive, Thunderobot also plans to offer a more affordable variant featuring the RTX 5080 GPU. This move aims to broaden the appeal of the Mix G2, catering to a wider audience with varying budgetary needs while still delivering high performance.

The official unveiling of the Thunderobot Mix G2 Mini PC is anticipated at the upcoming CES 2026 event, scheduled to commence on January 6, 2025. This platform serves as a significant opportunity for the company to showcase the capabilities of its new gaming system to an international audience, alongside the anticipated Zero Air gaming laptop.

The global launch of the Mix G2 Mini PC signals Thunderobot’s commitment to expanding its reach in the gaming hardware market, where compact and powerful systems are increasingly in demand. As the gaming landscape continues to evolve, innovative products like the Mix G2 represent the shift towards performance-driven solutions that cater to the needs of both casual and professional users alike.
