PS Plus Extra and Premium December 2025 Games Launch Today with New Titles

PS Plus Extra and Premium launch December 16, 2025, featuring new titles like Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Red Dead Redemption 1 for subscribers.

PS Plus Extra and Premium December 2025 games are now being rolled out, beginning with players in Japan and Asia on December 16. Other regions can expect to see the new titles appear on the PlayStation Store around noon local time on the same day. This update introduces a selection of games to the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers, allowing subscribers to expand their gaming libraries ahead of the new year.

Among the notable titles arriving in the PS Plus Extra tier are Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which has garnered attention for its rich storytelling and immersive gameplay, and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, a game that melds history with myth. Players can also look forward to Granblue Fantasy: Relink, a highly anticipated addition for fans of the franchise, along with Planet Coaster 2, which will appeal to simulation enthusiasts. Other new titles include Cat Quest III, Lego Horizon Adventures (which is also available through PS Plus Essential), and two games aimed at younger audiences: Paw Patrol: Grand Prix and Paw Patrol: World.

Additionally, the PS Plus Extra tier will include Red Dead Redemption 1 for PS5 and Skate Story, both of which have already been available and continue to draw interest from the gaming community. The inclusion of these titles indicates a diverse range of genres and gameplay styles, catering to a wide audience of players.

For those subscribed to the Premium tier, the classic Soulcalibur III from Bandai Namco Entertainment stands out. However, it is important to note that this title is unlikely to feature trophies for PS5 and PS4, as the publisher has shown little interest in incorporating this feature. Should there be any updates regarding this, the community will be informed promptly.

As players dive into the new offerings, it is essential to keep in mind that several titles will soon be departing the service. Subscribers in regions yet to receive the catalog refresh are encouraged to complete any progress in these games before they are removed. A separate list detailing the titles leaving the service in January has been shared, providing another opportunity for players to maximize their gaming experience before the changes take effect.

This update highlights Sony’s continued commitment to enriching its gaming ecosystem through PS Plus. The inclusion of such a varied lineup not only enhances the value of the subscription but also reflects the evolving interests of gamers as they look for new experiences. As the gaming landscape continues to shift, especially with anticipated releases on the horizon, the December offerings serve as a reminder of the platform’s dedication to delivering high-quality content to its subscribers.
